Ragged Rugs Horse Blanket Wash and Repair started in 2002, with the growth of the horse population in Aiken County, South Carolina. The County was being taken by storm of 3 day Eventers, Polo Players, Fox Hunters and CDE Drivers. Due to the horses being clipped in the winter months it became apparent that their winter apparel needed to be washed and repaired. Our services include: a 1 hour wash in a commercial washing machine then they are line dried and repairs are made as needed. (Patches, buckle replacements, etc.) Because we are here year round we have a local base and when spring and summer arrive so do the out of state blankets.
